Neurological and Psychological Conditions

Neurofeedback is effective in helping those suffering with anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and sleeplessness. Mentally clouded individuals, due to injury or life circumstances rediscover clarity to an extent they and their loved ones once believed unattainable.

Brain training with NeurOptimal® helps manage symptoms from conditions such as, Autistic spectrum disorders, Alzheimer’s, ADHD, eating disorders, addictions, brain injury and seizures.

Children, Academic Performance and Emotional Challenges

Brain training with NeurOptimal® has helped improve the lives of children suffering from communication and social challenges, and general difficulties focusing in school. Many challenges stemming from stress commonly fall away when the brain is trained for optimal function.

As a primary school teacher and mother I see Neurofeedback as such a gentle and non-invasive tool to support learning and positive mental health in our kids. Students improve their concentration, focus and academic performance through training, which improves confidence and self-esteem.

ADHD and AUTISM

When struggling with ADHD or Autism it can be debilitating and can lead to feelings of overwhelm, frustration and can cause angry outbursts, not to mention a lack of self-esteem and confidence.

Neurofeedback helps to transform unhealthy, abnormal brainwave patterns into normal, healthy, organized patterns. This means the brain starts working in a more optimal way and symptoms such as impulsivity, distractibility, and acting out — diminish.

Neurofeedback is being recognised as an emerging promising therapy by specialists and parents are seeing changes in their children that they didn’t think possible. In 2012, the American Paediatric Academy (APA) endorsed neurofeedback as a “Level 1/Best Support” treatment for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)” .

Our Teens

Being a teenager isn’t easy. Moodiness, resistance and insecurity in our teenagers can all be indicators of teen stress and its impact on mental and physical health can often be underestimated.

Some causes of stress in our teens can be related to academic life, social life, sexual identity or even related to trauma, family discord and world events (such as the current pandemic).

Our teens may appear agitated, anxious, depressed or withdrawn and these are all signs that cannot be ignored as without treatment these symptoms worsen and can lead to devastation.  Training with NeurOptimal® can help turn this around and can be a game-changer in our teens lives as they align with their true self and find inner peace enriching their relationships and wellbeing.

General Wellbeing

Practicing Neurofeedback reinforces a positive mindset, sets your mind free and keeps your brain fit. When our brain works right we work right, we are happier and we handle life’s difficulties with much more ease and grace.

Peak Performance for Athletes

Professional elite athletes are turning to neurofeedback to give them that edge on performance. Training with NeurOptimal® can ensure that the brain does not get in the way but rather optimises brain function so it’s easier to get “in the zone”, training sessions become effortless, less mental chatter and razor sharp focus that is critical for success.

NeurOptimal® is a training tool and does not diagnose, treat, mitigate, prevent or cure any disease disorder or abnormal physical state, nor does it restore, modify or correct the body’s structure or functioning.
